Working Hard Forever

We've got a new show booked for the end of the month. There may be some surprises.

Wednesday, April 29th @ The Delancey
21+ / $7 / 7:30pm
10pm Plowing Mud Forever
9pm The Last Broadcast
8pm Exemption

To prep for this show, we's be's working real hard lately on getting y'all's some new's ong's. I recorded some of them at practice last night but I found out this morning that the quality blows, so I won't be posting them. Instead, I will describe them with WORDZ.

"Mesmerado" - A Krazy Kirk tune that covers a lot of ground in just a few minutes. It hits 11 out of 12 major chords (sorry, E), but still manages to sound cohesive. There's a pretty chorus too. It's Bunglesque, Kiss-y, and Queens of the Stone Age-like, with a dash of Electric Sports Bra.

"Especially Heinous" - Think of it as the next saga in the "Cop Killer" story. The song is from the perspective of Ice-T, but at a different stage in his life. Is that good or bad? I'm not sure yet. Find out during the Dillinger Escape Plan breakdown.

"Salesman" - Ryan and I wrote the skeleton of this forever ago when he was playing with his cousin's V-Drums and I was dicking around on guitar. Who knew that we'd eventually be in a band that would allow us to replicate this configuration? Anyway, the song is 6 years better now, and has some exciting time changes. Wally claims it sounds like Saigon Kick meets Hum. The title may change to "Sales, Man" or possibly "Hum, Yes! Saigon Kick, No!"

Also, this may be up our sleeves (or as it were, behind our mustaches):
