Ba yo yo yo yonne.

It's looking like a show is shaping up for Friday, June 12th. The Midnight Ghost Train is touring through the area so we'll be grabbing a slot on their Bayonne, NJ stop. Details on this sludgy, muddy massacre to follow.

All Quiet on the Eastern Front

While PMF is busy this week quietly plotting doom, the glory goes to our friends Dogs of Winter who just released an album entitled From Soil to Shale. If you go to their website you can find information on how to download the album and the artwork for none moneys.*

Like the Digging-est Dog, I'm digging this album. It's got a solid New York post-hardcore sound with strong melodic dual lead vocals. It reminds me of Helmet meets Quicksand (Handsome, if you will) with some Boy Sets Fire thrown in. Lots of natural time changes and exciting harmonies. But you don't have to take my word for it. Da-Dun Dun.

PMF of the month club

So we've got a little calendar thingee over there in the side bar ------>

It's pretty ugly right now, but at least it's got a listing of our shows. You could always click on the PMF Calendar in the "Outsourced" section for a larger version. Better yet, add the calendar to your Google shit. The calendar's public.

We've got another tentative date scheduled Torrential Downpour in August. I just listened to their new album on Friday and out of nowhere, it started raining like a motherfucker. Second time that's happened to me listening to TD. Those boys must have control of the Weather Dominator.

Finalm3nt3, here's a few shots from the Automata Chino gig...
